For me, Mardi Gras is the Super Bowl of street photography.

My German followers enjoyed a Texas Rodeo with my images in this edition of “Foto Magazin.”

It’s always been my passion to make photographs of interesting people and share their stories. I don’t always find my people on the streets, but being a street walker is something I love.

I love this early morning photograph I made in New Orleans. So that morning I asked the Devil if there was anything he wanted to tell people and he said, “Tell people it’s later than you think.” My Friends at “Foto Magazin” in Germany ran with the Story.

My personal relationships have been rather rocky in the past so I’m drawn to couples that I meet. My “Couples” Project was featured in I-D Magazine from Vice Media in 2023.

I was grateful to have my “Encounters: Portraits of Americans” Book well reviewed by The “Eye of Photography” Magazine in France.

One of the best reviews I’ve ever received was from the Guardian News Organization in London in 2023. Very grateful for their story about my work and what makes me tick.

I still keep up with some of the Wrestlers I met on this project. Good street photographers are curious people. I want to know everything and a camera is a passport for being nosey.

My 2023 Exhibition on display at The Museum of Modern Art in Tbilisi, Georgia in Eastern Europe. Thanks to my friends Manfred Zollner and Teona Gogichaishvilli.

Brilliant Press helped me publish my first book “Love Street” in 2021. A great Team of Mark dePaola, Sage Backstrom, Melodee Stephens and Bob Tursack helped me navigate through all the details and process steps of publishing. I took away so many useful skills from that endeavor!

This book is currently out of print but copies still exist.
